After ninety-five birthdays I can imagine there aren’t many gifts left to ask for. Still, she mentioned last time she liked the cookies I made. They were better than the ones they usually get during tea time. So last week I put a bored boy to work decorating the windows with watersoluble markers and baked a few batches of Julia Taylor’s Melting Moments.

The little wooden crate and the spoons (I have a set of four) I found at our local market. They ususally sell a lot of new stuff but this week there was a secondhand seller with some cute things. And by cute I mean junk, but that’s never stopped me from digging through piles before. đŸ˜›

The weather sucked but hey, we had tea, cookies and balloons so all was good. Happy 95th birthday grandma!
